ROAM Homegrown
2018 – Current
ROAM Homegrown is a product-based business that I founded with two partners to service wholesale customers looking for private label home fragrance products. Since then, we’ve partnered with over 450 independent retailers and key accounts including Macy’s, 1-800-Flowers, The Four Seasons, Bellagio and others.
Responsible for product roadmap, go-to-market strategy and monetization across platforms, events and direct sales.
Developed team of independent sales reps and managed product adoption and revenue to goal, doubling overall wholesale revenue year-over-year for three consecutive years.
As the Senior Product Director of Monetization I worked cross-team to ensure all products, content, events and platforms were being monetized to their full potential, consistently creating new and exciting opportunities for Sales to bring to market, driving overall revenue.
Drove the strategic vision of the company
Identified and amplified top selling products to increase inventory and opportunities, increasing overall video revenue by 226% year-over-year.
Analyzed top performing content and worked cross-team to develop sponsorship opportunities that spanned live events, steaming, social and owned and operated platforms to increase overall sponsorship revenue by 183% year-over-year.
Worked cross-team to increase measurable and monetizable video inventory by 500 million impressions annually through product enhancements and packaging.
At Wikia (now Fandom) I was part of the initial sales and marketing team tasked with packaging user-generated content in a way that told a story and showcased the value of Wikia’s audience without alienating the dedicated content creators and community.
Developed product mix, processes, and collateral to take to market that capitalized on the strong engagement of the user-generated content and brought joy and delight to the end user.
Managed and grew national client list in the Northwest and Midwest territories.
Top sales person for six consecutive quarters.
